Lifestyle Of The Bored And Over-Hobbied

I get bored. Really bored. Like Sherlock Holmes bored. As a direct result, I have a lot of hobbies. Most of them involve simulations in one form or another. Models, general software design, game design (video and tabletop RPGs and wargames), world design for said games and my science fiction, things like that. I also write on a variety of topics, and when time and weather permit spend time hiking and camping in various state and national parks. And I cook, too.

I’m pretty good at a lot of things, and some of them might be of use to you.

Recently I took one of those goofy online “tests” that tells you what you should do. In this case, it was “What Kind Of Website Should You Start” or something similar, and my result was a “lifestyle site.” Whatever that is. The most useful definition said it’s all about your passions, hobbies, feelings, and adventures. It’s also supposed to be about what I know.

So my new project is to bring enlightenment to the world on the things I do to stave off boredom.

Yeah, this will end well.
