Ivy Franklin, Age 33, Investigative Photojournalist
As an investigative photojournalist, Ivy sees a lot of disturbing things. Mostly they’re run of the mill human corruption, but occasionally it’s just weird in a way she can’t put her finger on.
If she could be said to have a religion, it would be her journalistic ethics. She’s also a practicing Catholic like the rest of her family, but she isn’t devout by any means. I’vy won’t give up a source or cover up a story just because someone in a position of power tries to lean on her. She’ll also track an interesting lead to the ends of the Earth.

Backstory
Personal Description: 5’8”, a strapping lady with fire in her eyes. Do not mess with her.
Significant People: grandmother; wants revenge
Meaningful Locations: the Smithsonian
Treasured Possessions: old doll her mother gave her.
Traits: driven, good reputation.
Notes: I went with a journalist this time around to focus more on a standard investigator type who didn’t burn a bunch of skill points on combat skills. Plus “the dedicated reporter who follows the wrong lead” is a time-honored character since the pulp era.
