With the Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule at Devil Monkey Games, I crank 13 posts a month. There are occasional oddballs with 12 or 14, but they’re few and far between. Each post is ~800-1250 words, with most a little over a thousand. That translates to minimum 10,000 to over 16,000 words a month, averaging around 13,000 or 14,000.
By comparison, a novella is 10,000-40,000 words, and a novel weighs in at 60,000-100,000. I’m basically cranking a short novella every month, a decent-sized one every two, and a novel every 4-8.
This is on top of the coding and design I do for Devil Monkey Games and the stuff I do with RSMDME and Rock Solid Mamas. And the day job. And the classes.
I think it’s getting real close to tequila time.
